WELCOME TO AKAGI FAMILY WEBSITE!!

Hello, brothers and sisters! This page is to briefly introduce ourselves.
We are AKAGIS, consistes of 5 family members (Jiro, Kasumi, Seiko, Nozomi,
and Yu). We are a christian family, which believe in Jesus Christ as our savior,
our Lord.This family website should be one of the tools to share God's blessings
through our everyday life, and also to be shared back from our families and
friends. Let us introduce short biography of each.
Jiro is a husband for Kasumi, and also daddy for Seiko, Nozomi, and Yu.
Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido and grew up in Setagaya, Tokyo.
Has older brother and sisiter. Accepted Christ at the age of 19. After studied at Waseda University, he became a technical engineer at Komatsu engine compay and have been contributed to the company until now. Married with Kasumi in 1982. He also worked for Cummins engine company in Columbus, IN, USA. There was a bitter experience for him in 2003, when he had a bike accident on his way back to home, and he broke his back bone which forced him to lose 1.5 inchs in height. However, miraculously,he became just fine, training himself with Billy's Boot Camp DVD! He turned 60 this year. Although time came to his retirement, he still works for Komatsu same as before.
Kasumi is a wife for Jiro, and also mommy for Seiko, Nozomi, and Yu. Born in Tenryu, Shizuoka and grew up there until 18. She came to Setagaya, Tokyo by herself to study at Showa Girl's University. Accepted Christ at the age of 18. She had joined the fellowship at Setagaya Chuo Church, where she meets Jiro. She has many hobbies, talents, such as cooking, sewing, chorus....etc.
She has been joining the Oyama choir group for more than 15 years.
Seiko is the firstborn daiughter. Born in Oyama, Tochigi. Stayed in Columbus, IN, USA from middle school age (Northside MS, East HS), entered ICU HS in Tokyo from sophmore. Accepted Christ in USA and became christian at the age of 16. After studied at Waseda University, she joined Citibank Japan, Ltd where she worked in IT, and currently works as a Teller at Hiroo branch.
Nozomi is the second daughter. Born in Oyama, Tochigi. Stayed in Columbus, IN, USA from 5th grade in elementary school (Parkside ES, Northside MS). Accepted Christ at the age of 16. Entered Ishibashi HS in Tochigi, studied abroad from 16 in Toronto, Canada. She had studied in University of Toronto, and now works as a system engineer at Teradata Japan from this year.
Yu is the last daughter. Born in Oyama, Tochigi. Stayed in Columbus, IN, USA
during elementary school age (Parkside ES). Accepted Christ at the age of 15.
Studied in Bunsei Girl's HS in Utsunomiya, She's now studying at Nihon
Gaikokugo Senmon School in Tokyo to be a ground staff from next April.
She will be working for ANA at Narita international airport from 2010.
Zack is our lovely pet. She is 10 years old now. Loves singing, dancing,
bath time. She just deserves to be counted as our family members!
